The Fae are magical creatures and as such have many natural abilities associated with them. The more powerful the Fae the more powerful and lasting the abilities.These Abilities for the Dreamer are not imeditaly known or may never be known depending on the acceptance of the changeling to their new awareness of being a Fae.

 

 

 

Fae Strengths 

• Glamour: Illusion cast by the Fae to camouflage their true appearance.The average human sees only what the Fae wants them to see, and is subtly repelled from bumping into or brushing against it by a small perimeter of spatial distortion that is part of the Fae glamour(Hiding,Stealth,Invisibilty,incognito,polymorph)
   

• Sifting: Fae method of locomotion, occurs at speed of thought(Recall,Teleport)
   

• Healing:Fairy healing powers are extraordinary. They can cure any wound or illness, and even revive the dead.(Healing ,Veterinary,Heal ,Greater Heal,cure,arch cure,Resurrection)
   

• Charming: A Natural talent for song and dance combined with the fae's physical beauty can soemtimes control the hearts and minds of men and beasts.(Peacemaking,Provoke,Animal Taming)
   

• Tongues: Tongues allows them to speak any language at will, sometimes without even thinking about it.(Goblin and zibari languages)

• Sight: Very little can be kept hidden from the eyes of the fae some have the ability to see what is hidden or view things over far distances.(Detect Hidden,Witch's Peer,Night sight)
   

• The fae are immortal this simply means longevity,In the kingdom when the human host dies the fae will find another host child and live on through it. They can still be harmed by magical and normal means and even succumb to poisons disease and sickness.

 

Fae Weaknesses

• Cold Iron: This will always be the #1 fae weakness. Fae react to iron the same way that weres and vampires react to silver. It burns and scars them, and if trace amounts are ingested (say, through a water source), it poisons them. Fae are so susceptible to iron that there’s a lot of things in the human world they simply can’t do – things that humans take for granted. They can’t drink tap water, for instance, because of the small trace amounts of iron found in it. For this reason, they can’t even use ourshowers unless they find a white magic source they can tap into to temporarily fortify their skin against it. The same can be said of riding in cars – sure, they’re not touching iron directly in an automobile, but they’re so close to it that it would make them physically ill. If there is a source of magic, they do know temporary fortification spells to buff their immunity, but these spells are ridiculously short-lasting. Additionally, if bound in irons, a fae is incapable of channeling any magic, or even using glamour. It renders them entirely helpless.

• The Fair Folk: Faeries are often referred to as ‘the fair folk’. It may surprise you just how true this is. Every fae, regardless of affiliation, is incapable of breaking a deal. If a bargain is made with a fae, they must hold up their end of it, with no exceptions. This includes bets! Fae love to gamble, and it’s great fun to take a chance, but they are incapable of welshing out – unless they can find a loophole.
